Dr Laura Cockburn, BSc MSc Doct Ed and Child Psych CPsychol, AFBPsS, HCPC Registered Psychologist. Specialist Educational Psychologist and Manager of the Lorna Wing Centre for Autism   

Dr Laura Cockburn is manager of the Lorna Wing Centre for Autism. Her work there also involves in-depth specialist diagnostic assessments and she contributes to the design and delivery of training courses run at the centre.

Laura is a Consultant Specialist Educational Psychologist (EP) who has developed a specialism in the field of autism spectrum over many years in both the UK and in Singapore. Laura also works at the University of East London, on the professional doctoral training course for educational psychologists.

Judith Gould, Lead Consultant at The Lorna Wing Centre for Autism

Dr Judith Gould BSc, MPhil, PhD, AFBPsS, CPsychol Consultant Clinical Psychologist 

Dr Judith Gould is the Lead Consultant at the Lorna Wing Centre for Autism and retired as Director of the centre in 2015. She is a Chartered Consultant Clinical Psychologist, with over 40 years' experience, specialising in autism spectrum disorders and learning disabilities.

Dr Sue Sheppard

Dr Sue Sheppard, Specialist Educational Psychologist

Dr Sue Sheppard is a Chartered Senior Educational Psychologist (EP) who has developed a specialism in the field of autism spectrum disorders and successfully completed related doctoral research. She has worked part-time at the centre since 1996. Her work there includes in-depth specialist diagnostic assessments and she contributes to the design and delivery of training courses run at the centre.

Dr Sheppard has also worked as a specialist within a number of local authority settings. She currently combines her role at the centre with a specialist EP post in a London borough.

Jo Parker

Jo Parker, Business and Office Manager

Jo Parker is the business manager for the Lorna Wing Centre, supporting the management and development of the centre in all aspects of business and operations. She is the first point of contact for all training and clinical enquiries and is responsible for financial, HR, and ancillary management, and the organisation and coordination of the professional team working at the centre: both NAS staff and consultants.

Sue Keech

Sue Keech, Administrator 

Sue Keech assists and supports the Business Manager with the day-to-day administration of the centre. In her previous role, she assisted the project manager in the day-to-day running of an extra care supported housing scheme for 34 residents, making sure that essential support for the residents' individual needs was in place. She also worked for a housing association for 18 years.
