Joint membership - concessions rate
Description

As a member, you'll play a vital part in what we do.

The more members we have, the more influential we can be when campaigning for the rights of people affected by autism.

You also get some great benefits, which you can see to the right.

Joint membership allows two adults in one household to take advantage of publications discounts and to vote in elections for our Council of Members. It also allows family members to be involved and show support. Often parents wish to take out joint membership with an adult child with autism to introduce them to the organisation.

Joint concession rate membership is available to two adults living at one address whose only household income is from state benefits; this may include pensioners. If you are on a low income and the cost of full rate membership is a barrier to joining us, you may also qualify. If you are unsure whether you qualify, please call 0808 800 1050 or email supportercare@nas.org.uk

Note: When purchasing membership online, it is currently only possible to enter one name. However, if you forward your order acknowledgement email to supportercare@nas.org.uk with the name of the joint member, we will be happy to amend to your details. Alternatively, please call 0808 800 1050. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We are working to resolve this issue.

Concession rate

Concession rate membership is available to those whose only household income is from state benefits; this may include pensioners. If you are on a low income and the cost of full rate membership is a barrier to joining us, you may also qualify for a concession rated membership.

If you are unsure please contact the Membership team (membership@nas.org.uk or 020 7903 3563) – who will be able to help.

Every year at renewal please review if your status has changed and select the appropriate type of membership that you qualify for.

Age of applicants

Members must be 18 or over as there are annual voting rights.

Country of residence

This membership scheme is only open to residents of the UK and Northern Ireland. Residents of other countries and territories may only become members via our overseas membership schemes. Orders placed ignoring this rule will not be honoured.
