We want to hear about journalism, TV, plays and other media that improved autism understanding in 2016. If you read a great article or watched an outstanding TV programme about autism, we hope you've nominated them for an award!

Judges will shortlist the best nominations in each category, and announce a winner at our awards ceremony. The categories include:

  • best journalism (print, online, TV or radio news or features)
  • best TV or radio drama (fiction)
  • best TV or radio documentary (factual)
  • best other media (eg online video, computer game or theatre).

The deadline for nominations was 31 December 2016, so the media awards are now closed to new entries. We'll be announcing the shortlisted entries at the end of January 2017.

In February 2017, we'll open up voting for our People’s Choice Award. We'll be asking you to select an overall winner from all the shortlisted entries.

If you have any questions about the awards, please email us at Autism.Uncut@nas.org.uk.
