Ben Nevis Challenge.

Where and when does the Ben Nevis Challenge take place?

The Ben Nevis Challenge takes place on Saturday 11 August and Sunday 12 August 2018.

You'll need to make your own way to Fort William, where we'll meet and board a bus to Ben Nevis. You can drive to Fort William (it's about two and a half hours from Glasgow), take a train, or take a bus from Glasgow Airport to Fort William (about two hours and fifty minutes).

Places are now full for Saturday 11 August, but we would love for you to join us on Sunday 12 August. If you can only do the Saturday, we have a waiting list, so please email events@nas.org.uk for more information.

How old do I need to be to sign up?

The minimum age to take part in the Ben Nevis event is 12 years old. Those who are under 18 will need a consent form signed by a parent or guardian, and ID will be required.

How much do I need to fundraise?

Registration is £30, but we ask participants to raise a minimum of £250. For tips on how to fundraise, check out our free downloadable fundraising guides, and for fundraising inspiration, read stories from our previous Ben Nevis trekkers.

Why should I take part?

Whether this is the first time you've attended a trekking event or you're a mountaineering veteran, join us for a great day out and help us to make a real difference to the lives of autistic people and their families.

Take on the highest mountain in the British Isles, located in Scotland, United Kingdom, Ben Nevis. At a height of 1,345 metres, it is located in the Western end of the Grampian Mountains in the Lochaber area of the Scottish Highlands and provides you with breath-taking views in all directions.
