We know how great it can be to meet other like-minded people. That’s why we’re pleased to invite you to Members Together Day, taking place at Thames Valley School on Saturday 30 September.

Members Together Day is a free autism-friendly event where there will be games, sensory play areas, information sessions and workshops on how you can get involved in our work. Whatever your hobbies or interests, we’re sure there will be something for you!

You’ll be welcome to bring a friend, family member or just come along on your own. We can’t wait to see you there! Please check this page where we will be uploading a full agenda for the day very soon.

What is Members Together Day?

Members Together Day is a free, autism-friendly event, where you can get involved in games, information sessions and workshops. Taking place at Thames Valley School, there will also be sensory, soft play and outdoor play areas.

There will be quiet areas throughout the building if you would like to take a sensory break and there will also be an adults only zone.

Can I just turn up on the day?

Sorry, no, this won’t be possible. As we need to keep track of the number attending, please complete the booking form so that we know you are attending.

Will lunch be provided?

We will be providing lunch for our guests on the day, and will offer gluten free, dairy free and vegan options. If you have specific dietary requirements, we recommend that you bring lunch with you.

Can I bring a guest?

You’re welcome to bring a guest with you on the day and it’s not necessary for your guest to be a member of our charity. Please let us know if you will be bringing anybody when you complete the booking form. 

How can I get to the venue?

The school is located at Conwy close, Reading, RG30 4BZ.

By road

If travelling towards Reading on the M4, take the exit at junction 12 onto the A4.

  • continue on Bath Road/A4 until you approach a roundabout and take the second exit to stay on Bath Road
  • turn left onto Old Bath Road
  • turn left onto Langley Hills
  • at the roundabout, take the second exit onto Halls Road
  • turn right onto The Meadway.

By bus

The Royal Blue 33, 33a and Purple 17 buses run regularly from Reading train station.

By rail

The venue is approximately four miles away from Reading railway station.

Taxis are available outside the station.
