autistic man at ATM machineThe National Autistic Society has partnered with Lloyds Banking Group to better understand the autistic experience of using UK banking services. We want to understand how accessible banking services are for people on the autistic spectrum.

Autistic people can sometimes feel overwhelmed by the banking options available to them. This may be due to limited autism awareness, environmental challenges or anxiety about visiting new places. The more information available about the services and support available, the better able autistic people will be to make informed choices and access financial services.

Lloyds Banking Group is keen to increase accessibility and support for autistic people and their families. They are working with the National Autistic Society to undertake research into the needs of these customers through a focus group and an online survey. There is also a £50 prize draw for completing the survey.
