We are going into our third year of ourToo Much Information campaign, which has been a huge success thanks to your continued support over the past two years. We're now busy planning the launch of the next part of our campaign for World Autism Awareness Week 2018.

After the phenomenal success of our previous films, we're now searching for the star of our next film! Could this be you, or someone you know?

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • a young adult (18-25) on the autism spectrum
  • able to act and take direction
  • happy to share their experiences around anxiety and unexpected changes
  • comfortable doing media interviews
  • available in February (dates tbc) for filming, which will likely take place over two days in London.

They’ll be the star of our next campaign film created by Don’t Panic London. They will also be the face of the campaign’s third year launch in March. If you know someone who would be perfect for this, we’d love to hear from them.

How to apply

The deadline for audition entries was Monday 22 January, so we are no longer reviewing auditions. Thank you so much to all of you who sent us an audition, we have really enjoyed watching them all and hearing about your experience of unexpected changes.

Audition ideas

You could start your audition by introducing yourself and talking about your own experiences. Here are some suggestions (but we’d love to see what you come up with too!):

  • how you have coped, or might cope with an unexpected change or unplanned
event whilst out in public, for example whilst shopping or using public transport
  • a general description of how you feel when you experience unexpected changes
  • how you feel other people can be or have been helpful towards you if you’ve
experienced anxiety or a meltdown as a consequence of an unexpected change or unplanned event.
