Axcis Education, the UK’s leading recruiter specialising in SEND educational staff, have been our partner since 2011. In late 2016 we were delighted to announce that our partnership with Axcis is set to continue for another two years.
Axcis have supported and sponsored many elements of our campaign and conference work, including MyWorld, Network Autism, our Autism Professional Conference, Autism Professional Awards, and XI Autism Congress Europe. Axcis' expertise and support of improving knowledge and practice across the professional sphere is helping to greatly improve autistic children’s lives.
National Garden Scheme
We've teamed up with the National Garden Scheme to be the new partner of their Gardening and Wellbeing Grant. This grant means we can bring the significant benefits of cultivating and spending time in a beautiful garden to more autistic people and their families across the country. The aim of our partnership is to spread the message about the impact of gardening and gardens on health and wellbeing, and to highlight the invaluable work that National Garden Scheme does in this area.
The Morrisons Foundation
The Morrisons Foundation recently awarded our charity with a grant to support our vital Autism Seminars for Families by funding the first year of a three year pilot project. Their support will allow us to develop and roll out a series of family support sessions for parents of children newly diagnosed with autism.
As well as raising money amongst their employees, Tangle Teezer have very generously supported our successful Too Much Information campaign, including our Virtual Reality Tour. In April 2017 they will also be sponsoring our Autism Uncut Film & Media Awards.
Stella & Dot
Since 2012, we've been partnering with Stella and Dot for the month of April. Every year during April they donate the proceeds from the sales of their Autism Awareness range.
intu shopping centres hosted our Virtual Reality Tour in their various sites across the country, helping to spread autism awareness throughout the UK. intu Trafford Centre also holds our Autism Friendly Award, with a number of their other centres working towards the award.
We are delighted that Clarks sponsored our Night Walks for Autism during World Autism Awareness Week in 2016 and 2017.
We loved being MoneySuperMarket’s chosen charity partner from 2015-16. During the partnership, they raised funds through a variety of fantastic employee fundraising initiatives, including climbing the three highest peaks of Morocco. They also created a Managing Money online module for autistic people, and raised awareness with the help of the incredibly popular Epic Dave and Nico the German.
We were very grateful to be chosen by Waitrose for their online Community Matters scheme. This scheme shares a donation of £25,000 between three national charities. Online customers can vote for the share each of the three charities receives using their green token.
